                              In the spirit of the ongoingefforts of Rachel Holland,

                                 the 15th annual nclusion Celebration recognizes

                                 outstanding role models who make a difference 

                                  for individuals striving to belong to  inclusive

                                                               communities

                                           One of this years Honorees is

                                               Missy Runnels

         A powerful self-advocate with a unique style that is both unrelenting and engaging.

         She was one of the first people in Santa Barbara to move from a large institutional

                    setting into supported living and has used her experience to help

                                  numerous others move into their own homes.

                                           As a board member of Area Board 9

                                                 she is a frequent speaker in

                                                   Sacramento on the rights

                                                            of individuals.
